C2 dome light

There is a discussion going on on the CF regarding the size of the interior dome light on both convertible and coupe C2. The 7th edition TIM&JG states that "the dome light base is a chrome plated metal alloy with rounded corners, measuring 1 1/2" by 4 1/2". I believe mine to be original (didn't have a deduct during judging) and it's approximately 1 3/4" by 6 1/4". Several folks on the CF have measured their cars and come up with the same measurement as mine. Thoughts??

It's an error left in the JGs to see if anyone is actually reading them. Good catch..

If true, that's pretty funny. It will have "some" people chasing their tails. Thanx for the clarification.

I don't believe anyone will be chasing tails on this one. It's pretty obvious what a Coupe dome light looks like.

Thanks Mark...appreciate you bringing this to the powers to be. So, "dome/cargo" light assembly only in C3?? I've never owned a C2 convertible.
