to rear and if the body needs to be lifted can you use small sections of a 2x4 to put over the frame mounts that attach to the body? Just looking at the safest way to do this as the car is up on a quick jack.

The short answer is "I don't know", and it also depends how factory correct you want it.
2 years ago we converted a 63 to a dual master cylinder. By removing the left rear tire and the left rocker and splash shield, we could snake in a new brake line along the frame.

As Patrick pointed out "it also depends how factory correct you want it." HOWEVER
You can replace all lines except the single line from MC front distribution block to rear block.
If concerned about judging you can cut line at the first cross member frame (under driver's seat) and install a coupling
at that location, once push back to where it belongs nobody can see it. Also take care with the line from MC to front distribution block,
the repo's were not correct.
