    Borg Warner lever alignment tool

I want to align the shifting levers on my 62 4speed. The 61 Chevy manual shows the dimensions for a tool to help align them correctly. Does anybody make that tool? Or do I get out the old table saw?

If you are referring to what I am thinking, I use the biggest allen wrench that fits in the hole. That holds it in neutral, from there you adjust the rods to neutral. I know the hole I am referencing is in hurst shifters, I don't remember for sure if stock ones have it. Good luck, Don H.

I made my alignment block many years ago out of steel, but making one
Out of hardwood may work just as well.
