    65 fuel sending unit

    The reproduction fuel sending unit I installed has the float about 2" off the bottom of the tank, Shouldn't the float be on the bottom of the fuel tank ?

      No. It is approximately +/- 1.5 inches from the bottom. Does it read above the amount of fuel actually in the tank? They usually do.
