another capacitor question - 1960957 .5mf

I have an NOS capacitor with a white female plug on the end of the wire. DR 1960957 stamped on the end. Trying to figure out the application. I'm guessing its for my 63 but maybe my 55 Corvette.

1960957 capacitor is in Grp. 9.663 which deals with radio suppression. Might not be applicable to either year.

It was the voltage regulator capacitor in ‘63, ‘64, and ‘65.
