1972 Seat Track to Floor Mounting Bolts

I've read a number of past forum posts about the changes in 1972 with the retractable seat belt but one detail has not been addressed very well.

The rear outside mounting method is different than the other three corners. I believe pre-'72 there was a nut-plate at this location but it appears that '72 had a redesign such that the nut-plate was removed altogether, not just moved rearward to accommodate the retraction mechanism. This new more rearward location puts the mounting point inside the frame corner gusset with access through a triangular hole. The AIM shows changes on 3 pages but I don't see how the bolt tightens to anything.

Here you can see that this corner has a #7 change note but it doesn't show anything in this spot.

This page specifies a different bolt and a notation to drill a hole and refer to 1, sheet F29

Sheet F29 shows the hole dimension for that bolt but nothing else.

What does this bolt attach to? Is it a standalone nut? Do the '73 or '74 AIMs show this detail?

Thank you for the reply. Is this bolt merely a longer version of the other three, or could it be a different design? The bolts for the other corners have captured washers and flat tips. The possible bolt I have for the corner in question has a captured washer but with pointed tip and the threads appear much rustier than the others. (I'm not sure this bolt came from this location.)

Do you know what it should look like?

Owen, you are correct. The bolt in that outer rear location is longer and has the pointed tip. That bolt measures 1 3/8” from the underside of the head to the tip of the point. The other three are 3/4” long measured to the end of the flat tip. All of the bolts have a recessed hex head and captured washer, see attached.

Perfect! The web searches I did on the bolt part numbers show a couple different configurations for each bolt from different vendors, so I couldn't feel confident with my old ones. Thank you so much for the pic; it confirms I have the correct bolts.
