'63 Upper A-arm Bumper?

Searching for replacement bumpers for the '63(Nov '62build). Part # 3722380, Does anyone have the actual measurements for height and base diameter? Mine are approximately base 1 1/2", height 1 3/8" but are many moons old and in bad shape.

That I will do but still would like to get the measurements before I buy a couple as the ones I've seen by the corvette vendors are bigger by a long shot.

Search the DB for 3742247. Maybe the info you want is there. I recall there was some controversy about diameter and height from the vendors.

Several years ago when I had my '65 apart the upper bumper number seemed a bit confusing ( as listed in the GM P & A ) and my old Paragon catalog had a good illustration of the 2 numbers that might be applicable. They listed a #701K and #1342K so I ordered both of them. The #1342K turned out to be correct as they matched the original from the car which I believe is the GM #3742247. I still have the Paragon #701K new in the box and they measure approx 1 1/2" in height and 1 1/2" in at the base - thus it seems that they represent the GM #3722380. They are substantially smaller than the #3742247. Paragon also shows them for '53 - '62 Corvette upper bumper application.

These bumpers will make one think for sure. It does seem the 3742247 is the way to go. Intersting although...I have 2 '74's and did a check on them for grins...one had bumpers that were 1 1/2" x 1 3/4(appox) and the other had one of the same size and one that was was 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" which matched what was on the '63. Will never know the events that produced these results over the years but my quest is on to find 3742247's.
