PS Pump rebuild question

Hi,
So I pulled my ps pump apart for a rebuild and was a little too hasty. If you look at the photo those little buggers which I believed are called vanes go into each of the slots....but...if you can tell in the photo one side of the vane is squared off and the opposing is rounded. Which side goes inboard to the center?? In the pic it is shown rounded side inboard.

Been a while since I rebuilt them, but recall rounded side out
But wait for further confirmation, please.

The '72 overhaul manual (page Steering section 9, page 11) says the radius goes out and contacts the pump ring.
