    Vacuum tank vs fuse block

I'm in "the while I'm at" phase now. Found and fixed start issue. Replaced TI harness.
Now I'm replacing the engine harness and have found the vacuum tank right against the fuse block harnesses.

Knowing what a PITA getting the tank removed will be, I'm wondering if I remove the 2 bolts holding the block on the inboard side, pulling the block inside will gain access to remove the exterior bolt and 2 harnesses? Or some other way.
    Suggestions?

I did this years ago but don't recall this issue. Will detaching the tank from the inner fender allow you to move it out of the way enough to remove the harness?

      Dennis,
I removed and replaced my vacuum tank after first removing the exterior block.

Justin. Was your exterior block against the vacuum tank? If so. How did you manage that.

          Dennis,
No. Once I unscrewed the block I was able to move it out of the way enough to bring the tank down.

I did have the body off the frame as well so I'm not sure there would be other obstructions related to the body being on the frame

            Dennis,

Are you trying to remove the harnesses or the tank? If the former did you try loosening the tank as suggested?

Changing the engine harness. The problem moving the tank is the harness are right in the center of the tank at the bottom. Moving the tank down will only make it worse. I don't think there's much, if any room to move it up.
Hoped someone was able to do it removing the 2 bolts holding the block on the inside. Then push the entire Block in a bit to gain some clearance

I would go ahead and loosen or remove the bolts holding the tank in place. It's easy to do and may allow the tank to move enough to help.
