Convention question

I've got an acquaintance in the Norfolk area with a SWC... Navy O-4 SEAL with a wife, young son, and infant daughter.

He'd like to check out the convention and is a good candidate for joining. So will there be a one day public admission deal that has been the case for some prior conventions?

If not, and he can make it on the day, I'm going to suggest he check out ops check and transfer into the indoor facility as I assume that area will not be closed off to the public

Also, I'd like someone to volunteer to spend a little time, like a half hour or so, showing him around.

I too can accomidate yer buddy. give him my cell and email which I'll PM you. I may not make Hampton roads as the wife has been hospitalized for over a week. but f I'm there, id love to get a friend of yours. mike mccagh

The plan is to have a day pass available for the general public to come in to look at the cars and talk with vendors. There will be no problem finding someone to walk around with your friend and answer their questions. He sounds like a perfect candidate for NCRS membership.

Thanks to all who volunteered. Unfortunately my SEAL acquaintance with a SWC will not be able to attend due to "business" commitments. I'm sure we can all understand.

He's been in touch with Don Hooper and Vinnie Peters and hopefully will be able to attend one of Don's chapter events sometime in the near future.

...sounds like it will be a great convention... a bit cooler than Vegas and Palm Springs, but a bit more humid.
