1963 Dated Interior Mirror Repros Recommendation

Does anyone have a vendor recommendation for a repro '63 interior mirror (2nd edition, dated)? I have seen a couple that offer them - just curious if there is one better that another. (Would prefer an original dated 2-DMI-3 but good luck with that one). I currently have an original 1st edition (rivets and Guide stamping).

Joyce Borrell got many compliments from C1/C2 owners year ago...you might poke around on those forums and ask. I traded an original 78 rearview mirror for a nicer original one and some $. A couple of years at Corvettes at Carlisle., I learned she sold the business and a new lady has taken it over. I sold her a C1 core and got $20.00. After restoration, believe she gets either $120 or $150...can't quite remember. I try to use Carlisle Corvette vendors...it's gotten more challenging to be a vendor and attend these shows. Host cities keep scalping more $ from vendor, which is a discourgement for them to make a showing and pay bill.

Fred my mid March car has a mirror like yours no date 1st edition. I think the dated mirror may have come latter.

You may be right Ed. I was inferring from the example in the Judging manual example of 2-DMI-3 but it really doesn't specify the timing as to when the designs changed other than "late 1963" for the second design. Since this is an original mirror, I think I will leave as is.
