66 wheel cover restoration

So I picked up a really nice set of 66 wheel covers with no dings or dents and only some light swirlscratching from past cleaning. Even the spinners are real GM, one with just very minor pitting. The painted areas however are very uneven with some staining on them. I am going to lightly buff the faces but can someone tell me the correct/best paint to use on the cast gray areas after I clean them up?

When I did mine years ago I got the paint from LICS. Somebody else may have picked it up. It was labeled Dark Gray for 65/66 hub caps. Great match.

sorry for the sideways pic. I stripped mine using paint remover and masked, primed and painted. Can’t remember what primer I used but it was probably zinc chromate I had around.

When i did over some 66 knockoff wheels i used VHT SP998 for between the spokes, same paint can be used for the wheel covers on a 66
