I had a previous topic regarding the replacement of a 264 coil. As is the case with may post, it drifted into an unrelated are (sort-of).
The 264 coil on my 427/400 dated on the bottom as 09/04, Sept 1994? Tracking down some mis-firing issues and I thought it might have had an original so that's ruled out.
The 67 GM service manual that includes the Corvette is not coil specific to this coil but instead just lists standard and transistorized or TI. For a non-transistorized coil they list the primary resistance (ohms) as 1.24 - 1.46 and mine is 1.7. The secondary is 6.5K - 9.5K and mine is 12K. All measurements with the coil removed from the car. Sorry for the auto rotated image.
Is there any other reference more specific to each coil?
Sorry for the sideways image
