C2 1964 Carburator "ring" to air filter

When replacing air filter, removed the housing to expose the carburetor. On top of the carburetor, there is a plastic flange / ring that the air filter housing sits on top of. The plastic ring is cracked / split.

Looking for part number to replace plastic flange / ring.

Any information / insights is appreciated.

I don't understand what you are describing. There should be a paper gasket between the air cleaner base and the carb air horn. Maybe you have a non-standard configuration. What engine and can you post a photo?

      George,

Are you talking about the carb air horn, large O-shaped gasket? I believe for 58-65 it was GM 561624, which was rubber, not plastic, while for 66-67 it was GM 3886085, which was paper-based, for lack of the correct term on my part.

Maybe ancient, hardened rubber feels like plastic?

The engine is a 350. It appears this piece was glued together prior to my ownership.

Looks like an aftermarket spacer to mount an air cleaner intended for the larger Holley air horn. Corvette AFB nominal air horn Dia. is 4". Holley is 5". What size is the hole in your air cleaner?

The size of the opening in the bottom of the air filter housing is 4 1/4" .

Sounds like that's the right air cleaner base. If it fits well without any gasket at all then the much skinnier stock gasket will work best.
