Yesterday I got good advice on this forum about what might be causing fuel to flood out of the vent hole in the top of the primary float bowl. Thanks to the guys who posted.
It seems, after replacing everything except the fuel pump, that may,or is the culprit I have been searching around on the internet tonight and come up with a range of pumps from "cheap" $14 units to some that are in the $170 range. OK, my car is a driver with the 350HP 327. It is not a race car, so I don't think I need the high dollar stuff being sold through online speed shops! It appears that either a Carter mechanical pump, or a Delphi made pump may be the best choices I have.
What is the verdict from the forum?
