    62 Shift Linkage

I have my 62 in the shop. when the car was in third or fourth, the shift linkage was rubbing against the driver's side trans tunnel.

I was hoping that one could loosen everthink and slide the trans maybe 1/4" to the right.

But the mechanic tells me the arm for the linkage is wrong.

I was looking up shift linkages and there were apparently two transmissions. Borg Warner and Muncie. How do I tell which one I have?

Muncie didn't start until approximately May of 1963. Saying that, it cannot be a Muncie, it has to be a T10 unless some prior owner did a Bubba.

Does the side cover have 7 bolts or 9?
