It is with heavy heart, I am announcing the passing of my friend and NCRS member Wayne Loron. In the 20 + years, I knew Wayne, he held board positions for the Northwest Chapter, including Chapter Chairman, Chapter Judging Chairman, and area coordinator when he lived in Oregon. He helped numerous members with restoring their cars to NCRS standards. Prayers go out to Emmy and family. RIP my friend.

Oh my. I just saw Wayne last month at a NW Chapter Judging school. Wayne was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He will be missed by many. RIP my friend.

Damn it! What the heck is going on?! 2024 is not being good to NCRS. First I find out about Dennis, and now Wayne!

Wayne was the nicest guy! He helped me with quite a few things on my Corvette. He also personally invited me to show my car at a local concours event, for which I didn't think my car was worthy, but apparently Wayne did. I had emailed him not too long ago just to check in and sy hello, and I was glad to hear back from him.

Rest In Peace, Wayne! I will miss you!
