Trans-Dapt 1024

I'm changing my canister oil filter to a spin on filter. Using the Trans-Dapt 1024.

It comes with a rather feeble looking jam-nut as part of the assembly.

Anyone that used this unit had a problem with that nut failing.

The nut is a 3/4 x 16 at 1/4 inch thick. Anyone have a source for a solid steel jam-nut of this size?

I've come to all dead ends on the internet.

Joe, thanks. It's almost a 1/2 thick (.4218). I called them and they suggested item 90475A036 (.3125). Helpful folks, I ordered the thinner ones.

Joe, the part they suggested 90475A036 arrived today. It should be fine. Thanks for pointing me there.
