1956-1957 Repro Tailights

How do the reproduction taillights look for the 56-7, My original ones the plater just can't get a good finish on them.

Trim Parts use to make them and they were absolutely beautiful. Not sure who makes the ones that Zip is selling, although they are Made in USA.

I obtained repros for my 1957 to replace the worn original ones (with typical part number). They did not fit into the opening and I did not want to massage the body. I then returned them and had the originals replated. I was not certain who made the originals. My plater is now closed.

I got a pair from gary Pronesti form latest 57 fi restoration. they fit with little or no body mods. gary ads in the driveline on occasion. he's out of florida.i think, but am not sure, they were trim parts repos. mike mccagh

The '56 tail lights I just got from Zip were Gene Smith's.

I have used 2 sets of Gene Smiths and they are VERY good quality !
I would use again
