Tailpipe Extension

How far on a 57 is the tailpipe suppose to extend past the round bezel? It probably varies some, but I would like to know approximately how many inches.

(I would think this would be an easy one, compared to some of the questions I have been asking).

Harry, I have the judging guide, but it is an old fourth edition version and this info is not in there (only goes to page 77).

I already have a new judging guide on order, but I was hoping to have this info today or tomorrow as the car is being worked on. If someone could just read it and post it for me I would appreciate it much.

Dan, extends no more than an inch, from Edition 6.
