C8 spoiler best way to ship

I sold my OEM spoiler on eBay and now need to package and ship. The spoiler is 80inX6inX6in and weighs 25lb. USPS special is $75 and UPS is $130. I am considering wrapping it in bubble wrap, protect the ends and insert it into a plastic envelope?

I ship parts all the time. I would try to box the spoiler as well as wrap in bubble wrap. None of the shippers will treat it with care and a box is your best bet to avoid damage. Also insure it.

About ten years ago or so I shipped a '64 hardtop via FedEx. I'd use FedEx. Every UPS box I've received with car parts, has been dented, etc and FedEx never.

I agree with Bill. When I shipped parts, I always included a piece of wood in items of any length. Long items are just asking to be bent.
