    66 L79 water pump fitting paint ?

    Getting ready to detail my L79 water pump bypass fitting , the judging guide states the finish of the fitting but the picture in the guide shows it painted , i have one good opinion already but looking to see if there is more info out there.

      it was installed prior to paint along with the hose and clamp.
