    69 Seat Back Brackets Orientation

Looking at the attached picture of my seat back, is the left or right bracket orientation correct? The difference is whether the part of the bracket that curves out at a 90 degree bend should be towards the top or bottom of the seat back when mounted. In my picture the bracket on the left is mounted such that bend is towards the bottom of the seat back whereas the right has the bend towards the top. I know which side faces the seat back since the bracket is slightly curved as is the seat back.

    TIA.

It's seems strange that the 90 degree bend faces the seat. It has sharp corners that could tear the seat cover if one is not extremely careful during installation.

Bracket on the left is the correct orientation. That allows foe easier installation over the tab on the seat back frame.
