    427/400 Ignition top shield cover insulator

    There is a Mylar insulator on the inside of the top ignition shield cover (ref 2 in image). What would be a good adhesive to use? Contact cement? I was concerned about heat.

      I glued mine in with some 3M spray 77 adhesive. That was about 25 years ago and it's still in place.
