C1 Trunk/Deck Lid Spring Tower Install
So I was able to remove my old bent up spring towers out of the trunk and finally figured out how to install new springs to the tower.
I am now trying to figure out the best way to slide the towers back into place in the trunk. I have seen some use metal sheets to lay down in the trunk for the towers to slide on.
Should I be able to just slide the towers into place at an angle? I realize that I need to have the deck lid hinge in the up positions when sliding them in.
I am sure others have done this before and would like to know how they did it and any tips/tricks other than just brute force.
