    1960 Fuel Pump

I am ready to assemble my fuel pump and noticed the manual calls for 2 springs (#5 & 9 in the drawing) behind the main diaphragm. Most pumps I have taken apart recently and the recent kits only have the smaller (#9) installed. Your thoughts on 1 or 2 springs needed? Thanks

Your springs look to be in good condition. I'd put them back the same way. Not sure why the current kits don't supply both of them, but they do serve different purposes.

I believe that the kit I just used had both springs, or should I say all 3.
