Hi Everyone, I'm looking for recommendations of a shop to rebuild a C2 4 speed transmission.
Ideally in North New Jersey or close by.

try Fatsco in northern NJ. they definitely do automatics and since t-10 and muncie's are easier to rebuild, i suspect why can help you. they advertise in lemmings. good luck, mike

You may want to check with Pat Barrett Transmissions in Westwood,NJ. Pat B.sold the business years ago to concentrate on race transmissions. But the fellow running the business now is old school. I had work done there on ane of our everyday cars and his pricing was fair. I did inquire if he still did 4-speeds and he said yes.

Larry at D&L out on long island (ny) has done a couple 4 speeds for me with excellent quality, price etc. http://www.dandltransmission.com/
