Welded nut broken and spins - HELP

One of the nuts that are welded on to the back of the rear bumperette broke and just spins when I try to take the bolt out.

There isn't really any room because of the curve and angle to get anything on it to clamp it down.

I don't think I can stick my mig gun far enough in it to zap a spot weld on it.

Anyone have any cool tricks for situations like this?

Unless anyone has any tips or tricks I should try I guess I an just grind the head of the bolt off and then use a rivnut.

Well you could cut one edge of the bracket and heat and bend the other side / to expose the offending nut / then weld a new one in place . Then reheat and bend the bracket back into the original position and weld that edge . A little work but a quality outcome. / I only suggest this because you mentioned you have a mig welder so I assume you have the skills needed to complete the job as described . Hope this helps Jeff
