A little bondo, couple tires, battery, windshield, new big block and it will ready for Barrett/Jackson as an original 427 survivor!

I bought a 67 4 speed, L79, no AC, new and drove it every day to work in NJ. Had studded snow tires in the winter (Atlas snow tires). Drove in on vacation every year. Went form Daytona Fl to Nova Scotia Canada (No ferry drove around). Put 118,000 miles in 5 years, no accidents, hit 130 mph on speedo. Traded it in for a new 72 vette with AC at Walace Chev in Linden NJ and drove it every day for 2 years and no accidents.

And for some, they are still just cars. This was last weekend in Austin, TX and sent to me by a friend driving by.

We don't know what happened, but this is a good reminder to drive safe, pay attention and don't tailgate.

My dad drove his 69 L36 on the Schuylkill Expressway and parked it in a public parking lot when he worked at G.E. in Philadelphia. Sun, rain, snow, it didn't matter. It was just a car...............

That must have been fun Jerry. Having driven through a snow storm in my C8, and survived, barely, I can't imagine how "exciting" driving a C2 in the snow would be.....
