58 Hood Hinge Help

I must be doing something wrong with installing my hood and hinges on my 58 Vette.

Do I have the hinges upside down or something or maybe somehow have the radiator support installed wrong (I don't think so).
Also, does the hood support connect to the underside of the body in the engine bay? If I bolt it to the top I would imagine that the hood wouldn't be able to close.

Looks upside down. The lower bolts should come through the fender holes.

Thanks but I don't understand what you mean by the lower bolts should come through the fender holes. The hinges attach to the hood and the other end attached to the sides of the radiator support.

Do you have left and right hinges switched?

Jason, I hope I describe this clearly. The part that is bolted to the hood needs to be flipped 180 degrees. The pivot point should rest in the depression/cavity of the hood.

You may have to swap the hinges side to side.

Thanks everyone, I got this sorted out. Ended up I had them upside down and flipped. No wonder why it wasnt working like it should lol.
