78-82 Security shade replacement

Is there an accepted replacement material for this? I probably messed up by not asking here 1st. The upholstery shop I went to didn't have anything that looked like the original material. My original smelled nasty. Couple good washings and spraying dye didn't help. I deviated from judging guide by using a cloth material. Couple guys offered me their shade assembly but not an easy thing for them to ship.

Serves me right for not asking here 1st. Couple of vendors sell the correct replacement cover. Guess I'll live with what I have for now.
