    The two 67 N03 cars

I saw that Mike sold the white one and doing the TV broadcast they said the other red 300 car was destroyed. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I recall that thread and it left more questions then answers.

Maybe, but it is still the only publicly available information I have seen on this topic.

its a game I'll never play in I just like the odd rare cars like these. these cars are rarer than any L88 and don't get any attention and yet we know all 20 of them. I recall in the mid 200's there was a web site dedicated to the "red" tanker car. but of course that is gone now. oh well I guess I won't ever find out.

It is not hard to find info on the red one, here is the site where it was for sale for years. I even remember calling and talking to the Austrian guy who had it at the time. After getting more descriptions of it, and talking to my German tanker friends, I decided to pass.

So did the car get sold? So how did it go from that restored car to "destroyed"

Rumor has it that it was sold. That's all I know for certain.

What ever happened to the red 67 L-88 with the big tank? It was for sale in the Pittsburgh area about 15 years ago I think.

Must have been a fake tanker, they never made one in '67 with a big block. Was it a real L88?

If it's the one I am thinking of that was an ex Shriner car
