Can anyone identify the NOS Delco Remy glove compartment Delco Remy # 825248 as shown in my 4 photos?

Just a couple of guesses. First of all, I believe BASCO logo blanks like that the one you have pre-date Corvette. So, my guess would be something from the 1940s or earlier. Second, the key cuts are not what I expect to see on a Groove 15 key. Can you show a photo of the grooves on the other side of the key?

Thanks for responding. The lock and key set is my brothers. He is a Ford guy and sent me the photos. The oldest parts catalog that I have is a 1957 Chevrolet Parts Catalog and I could not find the 825248 part number in it.
