    '71 Power Window (&A31) Wire

While "tightening" up my hood release bracket the other day, I noticed that my power window (&A31) wire, coming out of the fuse block (accessory pin) had a two cavity female connector which seemed kind of odd to me. So, I pulled out the AIM and looking at it (&A31, Sheet A1) I seen that it only show a single cavity female connector . . . . which is leading me to ask: is there another accessory that is supposed to go into the second cavity? Or, is there "just because" or am I missing "something?"
    Any ideas?

My guess is this extra pigtail provides an open accessory port that would otherwise be unavailable because of the PW lead.

I agree with Mark. Extra just in case more needed, sorta like the Christmas Tree Light strings that provide an extra outlet where it plugs into.
