Once agin I must appeal to my friends at NCRS for help. Someone asked me if I could advise him as to the value of a 1956 Corvette model that was advertised on Facebook marketplace. I have not seen pictures of it myself, but I've been told that it is made of clay with a dashboard, but no interior. It is said to be about 14 inches in length. It is claimed to be enclosed in a plexiglass case and bears the legend "1956 Corvette 001" My research has turned up no information regarding such a model. I suspect that it might be a design for a plastic or die-cast toy rather than a production car. If anyone is familiar with what it could be, please share your thoughts and opinions here. This one has me stumped. Thanks folks.
