    Need 70 Fan Control Cable

I have misplaced my 70 fan control cable and am having trouble identifying a replacement. The temperature control cable on the right side of the control panel has a part number or 3940237 on UPC 1 Page M3. I cannot find the fan control cable on the left side of the control panel in my AIM. I can find a set of 3940236 and 3940237 cables for sell as a set, but they are indicated to be for 1968 only; although the AIM shows the 3940237 part number in 1970 also. Does anyone know if the 3940236 cable will work on a 1970 for the fan control?

    Thanks,
    Allen

First of all and to be clear, the cable in question has nothing to do with fan control. It controls the amount of cabin heat via controlling the amount of opening of the heater box door. There is only one such cable per car (although there are other Bowden-like cables for other functions).

The GM #3940237 cable is applicable to 1968-72 Corvettes without C-60.

According to GM, the #3940238 cable is applicable only to 1968 Corvettes with C-60.

The large black wheel on the left side does not connect to a cable on a 70 non-AC car. It just controls vacuum connections to the heater box. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
