What is this bracket for? Accelerator cable?

I received this in a box of parts I acquired recently. The seller didn't remember--thought it was for a tri-power application. I recently saw one advertised as for an LT-1, but it doesn't look like the LT-1 brackets that I know. Any help would be appreciated. For some reason I can only get the sited to upload 1 image. Sorry

    Mike,
It looks like the carb cable bracket for a Q jet. It is the same as on my 72.

The bracket shown is a GM #3921611 with a GM #3921617 clamp.

According to GM this bracket was used for 1968 Corvettes with Rochester carb. However, my original owner, late 1969 also used this bracket.

According to GM, 1969 Corvettes with Rochester carb used bracket GM #3972625 and 1970-73 Corvettes used bracket GM #3992386 (which also replaced the 3972625 for SERVICE in January, 1971). However, I think the 3921611 bracket was used after 1969 for Rochester equipped Corvettes. It would be interesting to hear from some other 1969-73 owners with Rochester equipped cars.

By the way, the GM #3921611 was discontinued from SERVICE in July, 1970 and replaced by the GM #3972625. However, just because it was discontinued from SERVICE at that time does not mean that it could not have been used in PRODUCTION after that time.

          Joe,
My May built 1970. Originality a mere presumption.

Justin the bracket you have looks like it could be the GM#3972625 used on Q-Jets between the 3921611 and the 3992386.
