Rich, If that's the case then either the gasket was dried and not sealing to the main body or the metering block has warped from the heat/cool cycles.
I don't know how an engine with a idle speed of approx 650 can spill fuel out of a booster nozzle. Float level, pump pressure could cause this but it's venturi vacuum caused by air flow that pulls fuel from the nozzle. it is a good idea to every now and then clean the air bleeds with some carb cleaner but watch your eyes. The biggest problem with these Holley's is the gasket surfaces not sealing because of the cheap metal and surface warping causing air and fuel leaks.
