I see two sockets at the bottom right of the fuse block of my '67 coupe.
The left socket is labelled POWER, and the right one WINDOWS. Mine is an A31 car. I gather the red wire feeds the power window circuit breaker behind the driver's side kick panel.

But what's the Orange wire plugged into the POWER socket for?
Here is the Orange wire, pulled out from the socket.

I unplugged this orange wire from the POWER socket to try to discern what accessory it supplies power to. But unplugged, everything continues to work as it should. Just in case, I plugged it back in...
Is my orange wire something added by a previous owner? What could it have been for?
What's the purpose of the POWER socket on the fuse block?
