I've had my '67 for upwards of 40 years and can't think of any fiberglass triangles covering the frame ends. Can one of you post a pic or diagram?

I agree. I phased right through the "fiberglass" part and assumed (I know) that he was talking about the frame rail end where it kicks up at the rear wheel. Maybe he's asking about the fiberglass piece of the inner fender just in front of the end of the frame rail. Need a better description or picture of what the OP is asking about.

Lawrence you might be better off searching the web for "sheet fiberglass" and cut them to shape yourself. Or make your own using matt and resin.

I would agree with Richard. When I converted my '67 from side pipes (not original) back to under car exhaust I had to replace these. I created a template and made my own from fiberglass mat. I think it only took two layers. They were also easy to attach them to the upper edge and create a very factory look. Must have done it right since it has received BG Gold and Top Flight and no one called attention to them at all.

Leif, your fiberglass has been cut in a half circle for side pipes and then added back, what kind of side pipes or covers do you have on your Corvette.

Scott, you may be right, but I must assume that the recreation of the piece looks right or else they would have. Your help with the tabs and brackets was instrumental in my ultimate outcome.

Leif, your fiberglass has been cut in a half circle for side pipes and then added back, what kind of side pipes or covers do you have on your Corvette.

Not quite sure what you're saying but the side pipes are factory. Documented with tank sticker and the "cutouts" in the birdcage. Flight judged, as well.
