Inside view of original Louvers on a 67 Lower Fender

Does anyone have any pictures showing the backside view of the louvers on the lower fenders for an original 1967 Corvette? I'm building up my nose with NOS Fenders, and I think they might need to be trimmed a little more. There are "lips/flanges" on each of the louvers and I'm not sure if they should be there, or sanded flush to the backside of the louvers. The fenders I took off, I really can't reliable use these as a guide. I appreciate any known original pictures that members can provide. Thanks!

That's one tough place to get a good pair of pics... Hopefully these help but if not, if you can direct me more specifically, I may be able to do better.
My car is an unrestored, original front end '67.
