I need to end this post.

I must be getting old, and in too big of a hurry when I read ZIP's description of there outer splash shield seal material. "Zip's reproduction outer splash shields edge seals feature the raised ribs as found on original seals. Sold in pairs."

Sorry for the confusion, I will order them from ZIP.

In my 1967 example, the three grooves face upward. See photo of top side. My 2018 version from LICS (#26-04 SEALS) does not have ribs. It is 13" long. GM service part number was 3996620 and it was a roll (un-cut) of rubber, with three ribs.
