      To one extent or another, yes. However, this one looks to be bowed more than typical.

        The HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS, critical "missing character" of the VIN, by itself, tells me everything I need to know.

        However, I'm not so sure that the label, itself, is original and legitimate. The information on it appears to me to have been typed with an ordinary typewriter, not even an IBM Selectric.

          Here's a pic of the door label on my '72 w/original paint. Whatever type machine was used it's got an interesting -8- character in my VIN!
