67 L89 valve covers.

these showed up on other sites. the part number points towards them being 67 L89 with K19. by the numbers only two of those where built. these being NOS. but why is there no temp sender wire clips on the driver side top?

definitely covers for a SMOG car with the unique bracket. Chrome you would deduce an L89. Not an expert on Chevelles, Camaros, etc but I would venture to say NONE of those other models had the unique Corvette only bracket on the valve cover for the SMOG valve. ARA

I had a set of those once and the Camaro guys jumped right on them, for their smog they said. Scott

No wire holders for the temp sender makes me think they must be for a '68 and later car.

Didn't 68 still have the clips on the sides of the covers
