1967 paint delete corvette tank sticker

    Hello,
I need help figuring out the last line on my tank sticker. I can not find out what the last line is. There is a "TA" under option no then to the right under type a "G" then AD... something.
Does anybody have an idea of what these might mean?
I believe this is one of the cars that was delivered to the buyer in primer. The trim tag says "spec." and the paint code at the top of the build sheet says "PRIME".
    Thanks,
    Tony

Just an initial wild guess... 'TAG ADDED SPECIAL' (in reference to the Trim Tag).

TAG usually has a name associated with it on the document. It's hard to see the name of that person. It could be an employee that ordered the car for their use or a special vendors employee. The special paint would support that, but my guess is that the TAG designation is independent of the special paint (or no paint).

I was hoping Tim would respond... as he has much more experience with tank stickers.
Reviewing your image again, the 2nd word might be 'ADAM'... seemz the 3rd word could end with 'AL' or 'LL'.
Very hard to tell... all guesses.

Thank you very much for the information. I have tried to clean the sheet better but was not having any luck.

I agree the second word does look like ADAM and third looks to end in LL.

Sometimes I have found that shining a dim or colored light through the back reveals more information.
I put my sheet on a light table and then dropped a sheet of plex over it and took some photos as some was difficult to see clearly.

Scanning it and then playing with the contrast can also help.

This is exactly what I did and it cleared up my tank document. The black and white was almost, but not quite, good enough. I used photo shop to both add contrast and change the background color. It is amazing how clear it became.

I did try a couple of different lights. The sticker is still attached to the tank. i tried removing it but had no luck and was afraid i would rip it.

When I said I changed the background color I didn't mean through external lighting. That has been over 30 years ago but I scanned the document and then used the photoshop app to change the background color. If you would like, email me offline and I will send you the scans to show you how effective it was.

I am curious, what color was it painted for the original owner?

This is how it looks today. The gentleman I bought it from bought it like this in May of 1973.
