If any of you are looking to buy a dolly for your hardtop, you can see that they are from $100-$125. I built one for my 1963 in about an half and hour out of 2" X 3" X 8' for about $12.00. You'll need three of 2" X 3" x 8's.
3 pieces 30" long
2 pieces 36" long
2 pieces 20" long
The bottom is made up of 2 pcs 30" long and 2 pcs 20" long. The two 30" pieces go left to right and form the front and back of the bottom frame. The 20" pieces go front to back.
The back upright includes a third 30" piece (left to right) and two pieces 36" long go vertical to complete the back. The corner braces are 12" long and cut on the angle. I used 2" sheetrock screws that were countersunk to avoid scratching. I also used 4 2"dolly wheels to allow for ease of movement. Good luck and enjoy.
