I need to transport a vintage car from Palm Beach Florida to Greensboro NC - any recommendations really appreciated. Thanks

Dan, I just used Reliable to transport my '67 coupe from New Jersey to Virginia (about 350 miles). They were very professional. Both customer service and the driver. Good communication too.

The only issue was they gave me a 3 week window for pick-up. That was a problem since I was selling my house and could not wait 3 weeks. Since I lived only 15 minutes from their terminal in NJ, they asked if I could deliver the car to them and they would store it inside their secure warehouse until they could schedule a truck to my area. I felt better after they told me a Bugatti was aslo being dropped of that day. It took about a week to schedule. They gave me a call when they were loading it. Once loaded the car was delivered the next day.

Reliable is excellent. I have also used Passport Transport years ago to move my four multiple times. Always pleased with each.

Have you tried Intercity? Their pricing was competitive with Reliable.

Dan, if you get Hemmings or access it online you will find a number of carriers. A friend used Intercity and was happy with them. Good Luck!

Try Plycar--they just transported my (new to me) Boxster GTS 4.0 from California to East TX. I got quotes from Reliable and InterCity and Plycars beat them both and was the transporter the Porsche dealer recommended. No complaints other than my car arrived dusty as all get out (which I more or less expected).
