    After reviewing my P & A catalogs ( a 65 - 66 - 67 - 69 ) they list the following part numbers for over the counter replacement of windshield wiper blades.

    #3819071 Blade assy - Trico - 14 7/8" ; This number replaced by #3941969 late 68 / early 69 time frame.

    Application : 1963 -65 Corvette, 1959 -65 pass car, 1960 - 66 Corvair, 1962 -66 Chey II, 1964 - 66 Chevelle, 1961 -65 Corvair F. C.


    #3779741 Blade assy - Anco - 15 5/32"

    Application : 1963 -65 Corvette, plus Chev models as above.


    #3866190 - Anco - 15" ; This number replaced by #3871085 in 10 - 66. This number only ever listed for 1965 models. Also in 1965 AIM.

    Application : 1965 Corvette, 1965 pass car, 1965 Chevelle, 1965 Chevy II, 1965 Corvair, 1965 Corvair F C.


    #3888296 Blade assy - Anco - Dull - 15".

    Application : 1966 - 67 Corvette, 1966 -67 pass car, 1966-68 Chevelle, 1966 - 67 Chevy II, 1969 Camaro, 1967 - 69 truck 10-30.


    #3887568 Blade assy - Trico - Dull - 14 7/8": This number replaced by #3899508 in 12 - 66.

    Application : 1966 - 67 Corvette, Plus Chev models as above.

      so with Rays research in the parts book it seems to contradict Post 2 and 10.

        All,
        Not sure how much this will help, but . . . .

        Shown below are the two "optional" 1966 full size Chevy wiper blades that were used in production. One was a Trico "dotted" blade with a flat shiny wiper blade holder. The other was an Anco blade (w/o dots) that had a dull finish and a "pointed" blade holder surface. My source, Detroit Automotive Restoration, indicated that the start of 1966 production used the flat & shiny Trico blade and the Anco "pointed" dull finish blade was a "running" change. Both of these blades look identical to what published in the 1965 6th Edition Tech Info & Judging Guide. Worth noting is that the Trico blade is curved, while the Anco blade has no curvature.
