Does anyone offer the re-stamping of the identification number and date on the power brake booster from a C2? It seemed that at one time there was an ad in the Driveline for such a service but am not able to find it now. Thanks!

Re: Brake booster stamping vendor
CSSB offers that service on the brake boosters they sell. If you're wanting yours re-stamped, you might contact them to see if they could do it for you.

Re: Brake booster stamping vendor
Leif, thanks for your response. As others may sometime search for this thread, the answer is as follows: Today I called CSSB about stamping my existing booster correctly. The answer is both yes and no: Yes they will stamp my existing shell, but no they cannot remove the numbers already stamped on the shell. So if one has a "blank" shell they will be able to help, but re-stamping one having an existing inappropriate number is not possible. Looks as if the only solution is to purchase a new correctly stamped booster. The cost to stamp a new booster is $50.00 plus $255.00 for the booster, or $305.00 total .- Top
