I do not believe that any of the reproduction houses still offer the rounded front brake hoses shown in this photo. For safety purposes, we don't deduct for the double crimp even though the production hoses were single crimp. Long Island routinely offered these hoses. ZIP sold off LI's remaining inventory. I have searched, and none of the reproduction companies are selling them. The 67 style hose gets a deduction on 65s and 66s. If you happen to come across a pair, grab them!

This looks like a double crimp version of the GM #3770240 which was used for 1963-66 Corvettes and also passenger cars of the period. It was discontinued in May, 1966 and replaced by GM #3876948. Curiously, the 3876948 was discontinued without supercession in February, 1968. Somehow, the GM #3898231became the SERVICE hose for 1963-66 Corvettes but it was never a direct successor to the 3770240 or 3876948.
I don't think the aftermarket double crimp hose you picture has been available for a very long time.
I don't know a thing about the 3876948. I've never seen one.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Joe, ZIP offered these hoses earlier this year until the old Long Island supply was exhausted. I hope one of the supply houses steps up and decides to remanufacture them again.Region VII Director (serving members in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas).

Re: 1965-66 front brake hoses
Long Island must have had them in inventory for a long time as I do not think they have been manufactured in years. It might be that Long Island had a large batch reproduced and drew from that inventory. I think it would be difficult to get these reproduced without committing to a large order.
Once-upon-a-time hoses with fittings of this configuration were commonly available in the aftermarket but that's been a long time.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
